Merry Christmas-Arizona style

Since it's so gloomy here today, I thought a sunny message from AZ would brighten things up. Merry Christmas, Mom, Robin and Becky (and dogs!) we really miss you!

Betty Brinn, here we come

Will and I decided to check out the Milwaukee Children's Museum last Sat. The Betty Brinn museum. I am so glad we did. It's a great place for us to escape during the cold winter days ahead.

Will had a blast at the farm.
He was also the train's engineer for awhile!
And played on a giant piano.
The helped his friend, Eireland with the Curious George elevator.

We got our tree!

We picked out our tree yesterday from a lot at Menard's. On the way home, the tree flew off our car and into the middle of the street! Luckily, no one was behind us and we were close to home!

Ode to Jon

There once was a boy named Jon.
He loved to sing and dance and carry one.
Jon met Carrie in Daycare when they were three.
They became life long friends with big, broadway dreams.

Jon went to college in Duluth.
Carrie went to LaCrosse.
They saw each other quite often.
Even if it meant Carrie had to spend a week in Jon's dorm
listening to Rush Limba.

Now, Jon is about to turn 30.
Who better to help him celebrate?
Carrie will drive to LaCrosse
and dance the night away with Jon.

The Children's Museum with Kinzi!

We spent Thanksgiving in Sparta again this year. On Friday, Will and his girlfriend, Kinzi, her mom, sister, our friend, Jenna and I went to check out the children's museum in LaCrosse. Based on Will's reaction, we came home and got a pass to the one here immediatly!

Next, Will took Kinzi out for a drive, but made her fill up when they stopped for gas.
Then, he called his Pappy to tell him he was having fun.
Next, it was off to the tumbling area. WEEEEEE
And finally, a trip to the HUGE water table.

An exhausted Will fell asleep as soon as we hit the highway.

Baking time

Will helped me bake tonight.

While I stirred our cookie dough, Will went into a cabinet and got his own bowl and spoon.
Complete with sound effects.
He sat on the counter and helped me put in the flour and the eggs. And sat in some of it :)
Later on, we cut out cookies. Will was saying "star" and then singing "twinkle, twinkle little star." it was very obvious what he was saying.
The little sneek was eating the dough in the end

I got my hair cut today

Prom dates, together again. Becky and Reegan went to the prom together and I think it's been a good 8 years or something since they saw each other, so we had to attempt to take a prom picture.

Soooooo... our good friends, Reegan and Nick were in town on Friday and I had forgotten about it. On a whim, Becky, my friend, Angi and I went to meet them at their hotel for some fun times.

My sister, Becky was in town recently. We took Will to the park a few times and had a great visit.

Not so fun Halloween :(

Mr. Will came down with croup yesterday. Poor guy! I picked him up early as he had a high temp and just felt icky. We came home to rest on the couch until he could get into see his dr who had some wonderful steroid for him that worked magic and he was pretty much back to normal today. Anyhow, I had to take a picture of him resting and eating a popcicle. It was not a fun Halloween for him.

Today, he was feeling better. Nap time was hard. He was not going to sleep! I found him sleeping at one point. Standing up resting his head on the railing of the crib. When I moved him, he cried. Finally he was settling down, so I went to do some work on line. When I came up to check on him he was standing up, wide awake and had taken off his pants and thrown them on the floor. What a stinker!

Last night Brett, my friend, Paddie and I got dressed up and went to a halloween party. Brett was Redd Green, I was a tap dancer, and Paddie was Hilda the crazy cat lady. She won for best costume. A wonderful time was had by all. Oh, and yes, I wore my real tap shoes and tried to do a few numbers. Very interesting!

Here are some pictures from our trick r treat event at the zoo. We didn't stay as long as planned cause it was sooooo cold. Will fell asleep the minute we backed out of the zoo. He had a really nice time and loved running all over. Even if he had a huge hoop in his middle!

Today Will and I went pumpking picking with my Aunt Kathy, My cousin Alissa and her husband, Bob and their sons, Bryce and Brayden. Will had a lot of fun and I found LOTS of goodies in the market they have there. We picked out 2 pumpkins, one for Brett and I and Will picked a little one for him.
